From the moment you arrive, you feel totally relaxed in the beautiful and quiet setting. Gorgeous poolside seating under archways, stunning tiles, and a leafy courtyard give you a warm welcome. The Hola sign illuminated at the bar, along with a large wooden table for communal meals, invites you to relax with a drink or enjoy breakfast in a cozy space. The large pool is stunning with two mini waterfalls, surrounded by lush tropical greens. There are lots of corners to sit and relax with a good book or a refreshing drink.

This is no simple all-included breakfast. The Diplomat plans different vegetarian breakfasts each day, based on what is fresh and in season. All bread and baked goods are baked fresh in house. The meals are large, filling, fresh and absolutely delicious.
One morning we had a charcuterie breakfast including warm freshly baked focaccia, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, gourmet cheeses, nuts, cherry tomatoes, and muffins.
Another morning we planned to leave early for a day trip so they packed us a breakfast to go – delicious breakfast sandwiches, freshly baked muffins, an apple, and coffee to go.
Our last morning included gourmet build your own tostadas – beans, quesillo, lettuce, fresh pico de Gallo, avocado and eggs, as well as fruit.
Freshly squeezed juice, mimosas, Baileys, coffee and tea are always available during the morning hours.
The generous portions and flavors will energize you for your adventures.

Personalized recommendations were offered at the start of the stay and any time we had a question. Thanks to these tips, we experienced amazing restaurants and activities that we otherwise wouldn’t have known about, and they were perfect for our travel style, which the staff kept in mind.
